The Exhibit Monthly News from the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame

The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum at Daytona Bike Week 2011

The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame was at the Antique Motorcycle Club of America meet in Eustis, Florida on March 4th—6th during Daytona Bike Week. What a great event. We are posting several images and videos of the event to our members only area on our website—if you’re not a member, you can sign up at the
From there we travel to the AMA Flat track races in Barberville, FL. If you have never been to an AMA race and especially the Flat Track Series, you are missing a very exciting event. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.
Our last stop was the International Master Bike Builders Association Custom Bike Show at the Blue Grotto Club located at the Halifax Marina right off Beach Street in Daytona. Many great bikes and custom builders were in attendance as well as about 30 riders and IMBBA members from Italy. It did start with a little language barrier, but the common denominator being our passion for the sport of motorcycling broke down any walls, so all had a great time. The Dan Lawson Band was the feature act for the day! It was a great show and a great party! Thanks to Jeff Starke and Freddie Arnold of the IMBBA for the invitation.

Custom Chrome International Bike Show Series As we have stated many times, we support those who support the museum. The month of March was no exception. as we attended two great custom motorcycle shows in California and Germany. These were two of the four Custom Chrome International Bike Shows set for 2011..
Both events were well attended and had some absolutely outstanding entries. These bikes can be seen on the members page at
While at these shows, we had some great meetings with several potential sponsors that we will tell you about in the weeks and months to come.
