MYRTLE BEACH BIKE WEEK  is  NOT CANCELED  AND  Has NEVER Been Canceled.


Bike Week is not in the city of mb and the city of mb does not support, promote, nor recognize any motorcycle events that we are aware of. 
The old Bike Week we have known, for decades, is at the present GONE.   Many have accepted the fact, the current city of mb elected officials have a vision of a different city than what the rest of the world has come to know.  That sometimes happens in elections.
In 2010 people still came to bike week but it was down.   Many of the people made reservations outside the city of mb and discovered better rates, friendlier places and how much easier it was to get around the Grand Strand and out to the surround areas.   They discovered all the ordinances the city of mb passed really didn’t bother anything because they never went into the city of mb. 
The good out of all of this is Horry County and the City of North Myrtle Beach, Garden City and Murrells Inlet have remained clearly Motorcycle Tourist Friendly.   We went to Murrells Inlet almost two decades ago and set up vendors and events.   That put Murrells Inlet on the map as “THE” destination to go to during Bike Week. 
We will be in Murrells Inlet again in 2011 at Cooter’s.   We will be posting events and information on Bike Week in the coming weeks on the web site.
