Whats It All About

What It's All About is the first major film to bring to life the heroic struggle of the Washington State motorcycle clubs against the discrimination targeted against them by Washington State law enforcement and the media.  Set in present day Washington State and raising questions about inclusion, American identity and equality before the law that are as important today as ever, What It's All About dramatically interweaves the story of it's central characters - activists and lawyers, returning veterans and ordinary citizens within the broader history of the motorcycle clubs of Washington State during a time of extraordinary change.   What It's All About gives an insider perspective on the process by which a small subculture can produce social change on a grand level.  For the very first time, the motorcycle club community is telling their story and setting the record straight.

 From an interview:  Shooting for Easyriders has really been a dream come true for a guy who spent a good part of his life running a power tool, forklift, hammer, ladder, etc. and keeping his ol’ scoot running.
My goal with my biker conceptual photos is to be true to those of us who live and breath motorcycles and know that being a biker takes a lot more than just owning a bike and leathers”.
I don’t get too philosophical with the photos. I will say that I only use real bikers. No stand-ins or look-a-likes. Every one of them is a busted knuckle wrencher and a rider.
"The biker lifestyle is hard to describe. A cross between cowboys and vikings maybe with some old fashioned outlaw mixed in there. I've heard some people describe it as an American phenomena like Elvis Presley and hamburgers. Might be some truth to that but it's a lot deeper. You can't go out and buy it. Maybe it shouldn't be described. I can say that once you're completely dedicated to it in it's truest elemental form, learn it, live it, love it and bleed for it the rest of the world looks a lot different."

Boozefighter member Jeff "Fratello" awarded the medal of Valor for herorism and needs your votes

Boozefighter Motorcycle Club member, Jeff "Fratello" Karges of my El-Dorado Co. "Hangtown" Chapter was recently awarded the prestigious Medal of Valor for his herorism on the job as a Sacramento Fireman..."Fratello" now needs your VOTES to win a Nationally televised AllStar Award...SEE STORY BELOW & PLEASE HELP HIM WIN..

On August 28, 2010, Engine 106 of the Sacramento Metro Fire District responded to an apartment fire with a 4 year old boy trapped inside....Upon arrival, the firefighters found heavy fire conditions, and the father of the trapped boy on the street calling desperately for help... (Inlarge attachment of fire and see father at bottom right).....

Without hesitation Fireman Jeff "Fratello" Karges, who is a member of the Boozefighters MC Charter #121 "Hangtown Chapter" threw a 24 foot extension ladder against the second floor window of the engulfed apartment.... "Fratello" then climbed to the window, broke into the apartment and entered the bedroom where he encountered heavy fire and smoke... "Fratello" was able to find the boy who was surrounded by flames, unconscious and not breathing.. Boozefighter "Fratello" wrapped the boy in blankets, fought his way back through the flames and passed the lifeless boy out the window to his Captain who was waiting at the top of the ladder.. The boy’s condition was listed as “grave” upon admission to the E.R., but one week after the fire, the boy was released from Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Sacramento, having made a complete recovery....As if saving the life of their son was not enough, Jeff and his fire team then also paid for a hotel room for the child's family, and helped raise over $1,500 for this family who lost everything except their precious son.

For his actions, Boozefighter Jeff "Fratello" Karges was awarded the Medal of Valor and has now also been nominated for the America’s Most Wanted "All Star Award", but needs your vote to win....If Fratello wins, he will recive this award on national television at a ceremony during an upcoming NASCAR race .....  Late last night I sent your story to the BFMC Nationals with no response yet...But, I also posted it on Facebook late last night and just overnight from midnight to 7:00 A.M. the story has had an unbelievable number of hits and it's been re-posted by numerous friends and friends of friends....Along with that, I noticed the story has also now been picked-up off Facebook and recirculated by the Placerville Newswire which re-posted it to thousands more people on-line...Just overnight, dang this might work...Some posts just off my page are as follows.....

    Absolutely fantastic thank you cowboy for posting this. It goes to show that there are still people out there who will give themselves completely without thought of there own personal safety. It also shows what kind of people are involved ...with the boozefighters.
